you should be able to get a trasmission interlock cable at any of the major corvete parts houses

If you havent gotten the key out yet , you might want to look under the power brake booster. On my 76 there is a lever there that you can pull to release the key. Hope this helps

Thanks to all of you. I was able to get the lever in Park and the key out of the ignition. I will get a new cable. That's the ticket!

I was able to get a good cable. Replaced it. Now I'm movin' down the road again. |cheers|
