He's spending all of his time helping us, doesn't have time for his own car! You have to hand it to him, he's a wealth of knowledge!

Vette(s): 1975 C3 Red, T-Tops, Black Interior. All I need is time and money! Getting there!
Actually I just bought a digital camera. Okay my wife had one already. The truth is the car has been covered with a car cover from the day it got here in mid December, covered with snow. This is spring break from the Tech College, so I hope to uncover it and take a few pics, maybe even get a chance to work on it a bit. Today I am going to help my brother with the front end of his car, then I need to do the brakes on my daily driver. If the rain hold off I will get to the Vette |cheers|

But I'm warning you, I bought this as a basket case. My wife swears it's ugly, and to most people it is. I think it looks fantastic. The digital camera will track the progress.

Sometimes I'm smart, sometimes I'm stupid.
I signed up with Image Station. I posted a pic of my C3. I changed my profile and, nothing. What am I missing? My pic is at www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4287352465

Perhaps I should become a paid standard member and post my pic here?

Any help would be welcome.

Ken,

Some image hosting sites do not allow outside access to images stored inside their world. Some have special code that needs to be generated for an image file in order to access the image 'from the outside'. When I clicked on the URL link I made above the first time the message(s?) below popped up onto the screen:

  Oops ...
Server Error

Try Again

The second time I clicked on it I was brought to a screen that announced I'd need to sign in before being allowed to view your album of photos.

You're on the right path though...!!! Let me know if I can help in any way.

Still didn't show up Red. I found the site needs a password to allow acess. I guess I'll have to post somewhere else. Anyone know where I can post? Yahoo?

If you are signed on Imagestation with a picture folder created, the rest is simple.
first right click on the photo after you have selected and enlarged it from the folder.
second left click on properties in the drop box from step 1
third In properties you will cut and paste the picture URL. Be sure you get the entire URL or it will not work.
fourth go to your message page and click on the IMAGE button and look for the image post brackets to appear in your text.
fifth point your cursor between the brackets and paste the picture URL there. (left click followed by control V) Wallaaaa...picture posted in the correct size. Have fun! |bouncy|

You will not be able to do this until you open an account with Imagestation. It is free and only takes a few minutes to do. Not much more effort than becoming a member on C3VR. Click on the button and it walks you through the process. When done, just click on upload photos and it will go to your picture folder on your hardrive and upload the ones selected. After doing this, follow the previous outlined procedure. Building a kick butt Corvette is way more difficult and you can do that.
