Tomorrow I finally get a day off (It took 2 months) and a buddy of mine is going to take me to look at the Kuwaiti Junk yards. He's looking for a set of LT1 heads.
From what he's telling me they have lots and lots of hard to find vette/exotic parts.
Any special requests. I'd only charge cost + shipping. Personally, I'm going to look for a LS motor for the 72.

Well...if ya run across an L-88 for $30-$40, that don't have a mortar shell stuck in the side of it, send it on...
Happy hunting! Keep yer head down!

Jim,
If you happen to find a LS motor you won't have to bore it out. It will already be bored out from all the sand.

Watch out for camel spiders!!
I've heard stories that they found 326 Hemi's for 100KD which is about $300. Buddy of mine knows the shipping angle. I hear they fetch alot more than that in the U.S.

I'll let you know more tomorrow what I find.

Thanks and stay KOOL!

And here I thought you were going to check out all the wrecked vehicles from the "Road of Death". If you havn't seen that yet, thats worth seeing. But you can't get close to it due to all the depleted uranium still left over.

See the "Highway of Death" at least once a week on the way to the border. Alot of it's still there, but a lot is gone. They have a clean up task force there. I remember when it was still smoldering, I was here in 90 also. Man,I'm getting old.

Well, I'm back.
Lot's of LT-1's and LS1's all day long. Didn't find any big block heads though. we were looking for LT-4 Intake and Heads. Found one set but the guy wouldn't haggle with us westerners so we're gonna send an Arab guy we know to get them.
I could've picked up a used LS1 for 300KD which is 1200 dollars. I'm checking on shipping costs. I found LT-1 Intake manifolds and heads just laying all over the place. If any of you C-4 guys need one...
I found a stack of LS-1 intakes. Guy wanted about 25KD each, so about 75USD. May have to buy a few to sell on E-Bay....
