Vette(s): 1995 Callaway C8 Soon a 68 327 4 speed droptop
I'm looking at purchasing a 1968 corvette convertible. The owner says its a rare L-34 or L-32 car 327 4speed.
", it may be l33 , not sure , but the alum intake tips it off , along with the valve covers, and massive holley 4 bbl MECH secondary , and a huge fuel line , x cam , and a delete car, except for heatthis tips it off to being more than just a reg 350hpcar(which have fac iron intake manifolds)"

The owner himself doesn't even know which code it is!!! I've tried searching for l-34 and L-32 and I come up with bigblock stuff.

Can someone tell me if this code is for real and whats the increase in value over a regular vette?

Vette(s): 1969 Monza Red Black Conv / Black Vinal hardtop 454/480 Tremec 5 Speed 308 Posi.Black Leather Interior, PS, PW, Air cond., tilt/tele,AM/FM Cass.-5 Pack CD, Hurst Shifter, side pipes 2004 Yellow convertible with black top and black interior
If you look at the statistics page on this site under the tools option, you will see 5 different engine option codes ( 6 actually for a head change ) and none of them are the numbers you list. The 350 HP 327 is listed as L79 and it is the only 327 listed. Other engine options are for 427 engines, L36, L68, L71 and L88.
Good luck!

I know. I've done a ton of searching. I can't find anything for those codes. But the owner is pretty sure he has something great. Of course he should say that since he's selling it...!

Well, he only other option I can think of would be an NCRS judging manual. NCRS has been judging these cars for enough years that I would bet they know all the engine options. If you are a member of NCRS, go to their site and put the question to their forum.
In the mean time, I would tell the seller you have a special hundred dollar bill and if he plants it with some magic beans, it will turn into $35,000.00 and he can keep the change, after title transfer of course |biggrin| Sorry, I had to do that. I think the guy is having some fun at your expense. In truth, I hope he is correct and you do have the oportunity to buy a one of a kind Vette, but then again, his price should reflect that.
Good luck !
