Hey Larry, I took the Pacer out today, in all the down pouring rain, wind, and winter road crap Ermm  I don't have the room, tools, or technical expertise to change the fluid in my rear end so I took it to the local Chevy Stealership and let them do it.  And guess what, no more knocking and clunking in the rear end Thumbs%20Up

And whats even better ............... they got that #%*&# fuse changed for only the price of the fuse.  I wasn't cracking another rib over that darn thing LOL

If changing the fluid in my rear end would stop the noises, my wife would have done it a long time ago. Where's da plug????Rolling%20On%20The%20Floor%20Laughing ( sorry Mark)..............

As for what was making the noise, lack of Possi Adative, old fluid, I'm not sure but it stopped.  Damage? No clue I guess you wouldn't know unless you opened up the rear.

I'm very "anal" about fluid changes. Any fluid, every fluid. Keep it clean. It makes a big difference. Now, if I could just find a way to quite the rear end noises LOL. Guess it's an age thing Embarrassed.

I am still wondering why you would take a "Pacer" to a Chevy dealer and what does that have to do with rear end noises?Rolling%20On%20The%20Floor%20Laughing
