Looks sharp! The first thing my wife said when she saw my new fuel door was, 'Where's the emblem?' ... I am planning on doing the same thing. Did you just glue the emblem on?

Rob,
That does look great! Very nice finishing touch, it looks like you used the cap head bolts as well. Nicely done and the chromed air vent grills look good too!

Jim
I did glue it on; I first cut off the studs with a dremel, then glued it on with Gorilla glue; I held it in place with some tape so it didn't slide around.
Jim, after seeing yours, I had to go with the same bolts. And you're right, the chrome vents finish off the look.
Rob,
I was just in the garage looking at the old cap and emblem to figure out the best way to mount it - good tip on cutting the studs and using glue - now I have another small project to do before AutoFair in April - Thanks again Rob - nice finishing touch.
Jim
Jim,
Glad to help; remember if you're using that Gorilla glue that it expands 2-4 times what you use. I put a drop on the spot where the studs were then prayed it didn't expand and leak out passed the emblem.
Good Luck.
Good tip Rob on the glue - Thanks
Jim
