...What does AIM stand for or what is it and where or who do you get/buy it from....
Assembly Instruction Manual. All the Corvette aftermarket providers carry the AIMs and you can get them off ebay. The best deals come with a 3-ring binder to put it in.

Thanks Mike, Im using a Painless wiring harness, fusebox and relay pack, will that make a difference? Tonight I am pulling all relays, modules and switches out of the car, what im finding out is that even know the switches worked, ie. for instance the power window switches both have a different draw on them, and the anti theft module has a big time draw, even more so than the window switches. I have just put in a 100% new out of the box distributor assembly 2 weeks ago and just prior to deciding to go forward and removing all electronic components burnt up a new ignition module. Not sure if it is all related, but i'm going to get to the bottom of it come hell or high water. I think this weekend i am going to invest in a good Fluke meter instead of the local hardware off brand that i am using, i truly dont believe it is going to make a difference, i am activating the swithes with a little wiring set up off of a battery on the bench, this way all wire lengths are the same and so is the volt on all components.
Take lots of pics BEFORE you remove too much.
It might make it easier putting it all back together.
