Way impressive. I am so glad I didn't have to remove the body of mine. It would cut into my bowling time..................

ok Sarge81.  i don't think so not going to be able to start sandblasting til spring and the snow is gone.
Right now i'm a little confused as to how the dust shields come off, had a quick peak at them and looks like they slide off a clip or something on the top, today going to clean them up a bit so i can see better how they are held on the top side.

got them off after i cleaned off 40 years of grime i could see what was going on, everything off the front except the a-arms and springs, going to wait for some help by a friend who has done it before.  Moved on to the back now

Oh SH**** so i removed the struts on back and realized after i did the first one i didn't have picture of where it was set.  I shined up right side and have real good picture of where it was set.  so will both sides be set  the same or at least close when i put it back together so alignment isn't too far off?
The back suspension is giving me quite a go, its so rusted have had to cut or beat most things off, hubbie cost me the spindle part ( im sure there is a correct name in the book) which houses the bearing but there was no other option had to beat it apart and still not completely apart.  Have to be rebuilt anyway.    Whew, i need a massage

so just a little update,  car goes into body shop in local town and he will be helping me with the restore of body as I have never done this before, and boxing day I will begin the assembly of the engine, all new parts are sitting in shop. Kept original block as this is a parts matching car which might be important someday.  Boosted my 75 from the original est 165 hp to around 325 hp and could creep up a little farther before I'm done. So should have engine back on chassis by end of January and body work done come spring as long as time isn't a problem.
