I would watch ebay and craigslist. But some sort of inspection would be mandatory on a vette of that age. Also check with members of your local vette club.

Project car is pretty vague... a little more detail about what you are after would be nice. I like looking through Corvette Forum's For Sale section. LOTS of them out there, depends on what money you want to spend and the depth of work you are able to tackle.

I know of a '72 LT1 Air coupe for sale in Indiana...hasn't been on the road for 15 years, and the guy is askin $15,000. I can put you in contact with someone, if you(or anyone else) might be interested. I believe it is a yellow w/black interior...
This is a dang good deal for an LT1 air car, depending on how the car actually looks. Obviously, it will need some work.
