I assure you this will be the last until something else goes.

My next step with this will be to put it on the lift, pull the pan, and see what is hiding inside the block. It is a solid lifter engine, but you never know what you might find.

I will also look for the tank sticker........one can only hope!

The car sat covered in a garage for 10 years, so all the fluids will have to go. I will post some pics of the underside when I get under it!

Vette(s):
SOLD - "The Toy" - '70 Convertible
SOLD - "The Beast" - '90 ZR-1 (#682)
SOLD - "Betty" - '28 Ford Model A Tudor
SOLD - "BLKBRRD" - '78 Pontiac Trans Am
"BLUBYU" - '04 Coupe
Looks like you found a beauty...!!!

"The Beast" spent most of its life in a climate controled garage in the Scottsdale area.  And even though there was only 7,500 miles on the odometer all four tires had checks and cracks in the tread.  New GYs were put on before going to Carson City last year as well as changing out ALL of the fluids.  Also replaced all 16 fuel injectors as one failed before the trip.

I wonder if the LT-1 we all saw out in the Carson City area ever sold.
