Hey Adam. dat was da "Wabbitt". As far as MY Girl,(Da Vette), I wish I knew more. Its the L-48. The engine was rebuilt 10,000 mi. before I bought it. I am the 3rd owner. They guy I bought it from is upset with me because he took my offer and I was the first one to look at it. He told me after I left deposit his phone rang non-stop and more than 1 guy offered more than he was asking sight unseen. When I asked him for reciepts and info about motor, he told me he didn't know( which I think is bull). Its my 1st Vette and my childhood dream come true. All the previous owner would tell me is its got 1 size over cam & high compression pistons. I added Edelbrock low high rise intake & Holley 650 cfm carb. Orignal Dist. soon to be MSD Pro Billet. I added MSD Blaster coil, and really cleaned up the motor(lots of chrome). I have restored the suspension & interior, and will have it painted this winter, (RED, because Vettes are supposed to be RED). Does anyone know what the orig. Quad carb is worth? I recently paid $175.00 to have it rebuilt, but just couldn't dial it in. I'm willing to sell it as My Girl is far from original (its a driver). Its really hard to advance time, etc. not knowing more about motor. I will have it dyno tested after I finish with motor. All I know is it gets out of the box in a big hurry & have had her up to 130 mph and think it will go faster (I chickened out at 130. She's a sweetheart. I told my wife when I bought it I found something better than sex. That's about it from the 71wabbittguy.
