Hello all,

As per my tank sticker, my car was ordered by dealer #22. As per NCM, this turns out to be DON ALLEN CHEVROLET in Miami, Florida. They are no longer in business.

I am trying to order a repro window sticker that I want to be as accurate as possible.

Does anyone know the address of this dealer or where they used to be?

If not, please provide the address of any Chevy Dealer in Miami & I'll use that.

Thanks,

Anthony |saluteflag|

Vette(s): 1972 coupe/350 cid/mild cam/4 spd/20 ft. paint (looks perfect from 20 ft.), but it sure runs nice.
Anthony -

Tropical Chevrolet, Inc.
8880 Biscayne Blvd.
Miami, FL 33138-3398
305-754-7551 fax: 305-754-7367

This is an "old school" dealer in Miami still in business. Just a little North of the old Don Allen.

A little further north and in the middle of what I call "Corvette country" is:

Lou Bachrodt Chevrolet, Inc.
1801 W. Atlantic Blvd.
Pompano Beach, FL 33069-2799
954-971-3000 fax: 954-977-3529

Hope this helps....

Just today I learned from an old timer, that Don Allen Chevrolet was THE place to buy your Corvette in Miami. He said the dealer had a separate division that just "did Vettes". They must have been tight with the factory.....many a special-order car drove off their showroom floors. I think it was the neighborhood that did them in, maybe. Everything around it deteriorated, so it was a matter of time.

P.S. I grew up in the Miami area and remember driving by the dealership alot.Their sign was very recognizable, especially at night....DON ALLEN in cursive lettering, brightly lit. Brings back great memories growing up.

What Zone is on the sheet? Mine is zone 31, it's supposed to be western Fla. or Eastern Alabama.

Thanks, seems like somebody here told me a while back zone 31 was in the panhandle and Eastern Ala. My car was registered in Birmingham in the late 80's.
