Vette(s): Silver 1974 Convertible - L82 4 speed
Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.
2008 Jetstream Blue Convertible
On Tuesday, I was driving back from St. Louis to Indy, baking under the 90+ degree sun. I made a stop at MAM to take a chance to get in from the heat and to see it before the crowds of Fun Fest.
As I'm walking through the museum/shop, some guy comes in and starts asking "Who's Silver 74 is this out here?" I tell him it's mine and he introduces himself as the photographer for MAM. He asks where I live, and when I tell him I'm only two hours away, he seems happy. He says that he doesn't have any pictures of a 74 convertible and he'd like to keep a note on my car in case he has a need for one!
Obviously, this is a far stretch from actually having my car professionally shot and to having it in their catalog, but I'm pretty dang excited just at the possibility!!
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!
