Try and make this short. This lady just opened up a pet store on the island so I stop buy to have a look.Turns out she has an 81 Vette. The color is red with a silver interior.I've never seen one like it.She bought the car new in Virgina and took it to Germany where she's from.Anyway of checking out how many were made with that color combination?

There's no way I know of to tell how many were made with that color combination. Silver Gray was available with a red exterior.
For the 81 model year there were 4310 Corvettes made in Red, 1618 made in Maroon Metallic, and 1505 in Autumn Red. Not sure which red you're talking about. All were available with Silver Gray interiors.
If GM has any records left that give those production numbers, I doubt if even they know they have them.

Bowling Green will have records for the '81 & up cars. Finding someone to do the research is the problem. Perhaps a nice letter of request to the Museum, or the Corvette Action Center will get an answer.
