This would make a great study of "early" GMAD style buildsheets for 1974 owners and capturing many codes unique to 1974 that may be missing among 1974 code data bases.

Appreciate any insight or information on my '68 Rally Red Roadster VIN: 194678S419264.
I bought in Oct. and have mileage and sales documentation going back to 1999. Have spoken to last 2 dealers and 2 owners. I'm continuing to look for any information that I can get for my '68s Fact Booke.

Sorry Rick...I'm not seeing that VIN listed. Like everyone else...I can find cars a few numbers from yours, but not YOURS!

Thanks for looking for me. I knew this was a long shot. Do you keep a list and check it against the occassional new list postings?
I can't imagine how those whose have been found, feel.......WoW! More to the story!
Mine was professionally appraised at $25k in 1999 and I was given that appraisal package as part of the documentation. I spoken to both of the owners since '99 and neither did anything but drive it once in a while and between the 2 of them only put 8,563 miles over the last 15 yrs. It looks as good today as it did in the pictures in the '99 appraisal package.
When the weather (my garage) warms up, I'm going to be all over it looking for any extra buildsheet that may have been stached away in some odd place. Thanks for the C3VR vettesters who have shared where they have found theirs.

I do not have a list personally, but there is a section on the NCRS Tech Discussion Board specifically for folks with paperwork for other cars to list it. I check it every now and then to see what's new.....still hoping to find something on my '74. I have the ownership info back to the original owner, but he's not interested in talking to me about the car, so I can't get anything from him.

Thanks I went to the NCRS site and found the build sheet page. When I went to the page, I was informed that I would have a 30 day free trial membership to use the site.
I plan to monitor this page in the future just to check this page. So I guess I'll have to become a member and pay whatever the fee is to continue to monitor the build sheet postings.

The NCRS TDB is for members only, tho you can view a lot of it as a "Guest" for 30 days. Membership in NCRS will get you a lot more than just access to the TDB....well worth the admission price, imho.

You're probably right, it's just with NCM, NCCC, Local Club, etc fees you keep laying out money for all these corvette associated sources.

As the C3VR has been so valuable with the members offering information freely, I was thinking of Upgrading my membership which will be an additional cost.
My '68 is stock and for this first year I'll struggle to keep it as such. I'm looking at all the cool vettes on the C3VR and other places and see and read about things that I want to do to make mine look and perform better i.e. side pipes, upgraded brakes, suspension, maybe a sell my good running L-79 tuned by Lars and replace it with a LS3 vette engine. I love the '68 but after this coming 2014, I don't know if I can resist the temptation to make it the best it can be!
