June 26th it is! Just proves that the build date is only "approximate", and the "Birthday Book" isn't always correct, even tho we know it is just an educated guess, going by production records, and other info.
Thanks for posting the trim tag, too. Big smile

btw...that's the same color as my '74. Thumbs Up

I like your Texas-sized view.  Very nice ride - looks like a lot of fun and gives me hope.  This is my first corvette - I have a lot to learn, but I'm really having a good time (so far).  Got the body off and am starting on the frame as soon as I get the engine pulled.  Since the engine block is the only thing that is not original, I'm struggling to decide where to go once I get to the point of no return on colors - both interior and exterior.  At least I have some time.

Wow! Is that what a trim tag is supposed to look like!?  Mine was a mess, having been painted around multiple times.

Adam, on your '79, the trim tag WAS painted to begin with...I think they started doing that in '77 or '78. The older cars had the tag installed after the body was painted, but before final assembly. The later cars had the tag installed before paint. Thumbs Up

And you are correct....that IS a really nice trim tag!! Most of them by now are all scratched up from cleaning, and from being painted over after the fact. Ouch

I have a "68". Would they have any listing on the build sheet for my car. I see they had replaced the tank. I contacted the previous owner you told me he never looked for the build sheet when he changed the tank.

Has been here in Australia since 2005 that i can track
Belive it to be a californian car
 
Would love any info, tags, paper work i can find
 
This car is mostly original and i would like to progreesivly take it back to original full #'s matching
 
At the moment it is just a fun driver with correct heads, block, trans. diff that i can figure
 
Any info would be great thanks
