Hi Everyone, I am finally back on the site more regularly. I have been not here much at all due to my 11 year old daughter's diagnosis of Leukemia in May. It has been a rough 9+ months but she is almost in the maintenance phase which is chemo only once a month and not the hard chemo drugs. She is in remission and will be in treatment till Sept 2012. She is a fighter! She was at Carlisle last year as a celebrity judge thanks to kindness of Lance Miller. She hopes to attend this year's show with me also. Now for my good news! My 71 will be one the cars for Chip's Choice Barn Find display for 2011. My family is very excited and I am planning what I want to display for the show. My car's photo is pictured on the Carlisle website ad for the show. Hope to see some of you there this August. I only attended 2 corvette events last year and hopefully will be able to attend alot more this year. Hope to be more active on here now. Take care Tom

Tom, that's phenomenal news! HAving four girls of my own, my tears are flowing for you just at the thought of your daughter, you and the family having to deal with this. In any case, my prayers will continue for your daughter and you and the family.
I hope to meet you at a future event. I made the Corvettes for Chip show the last 2 years along with some of the other club members and it's one of my favorites. I'll keep an eye out for your car - she's a beauty!

Tom,
My thoughts and prayers are with you and yours. Sounds like your daughter has had to grow up real fast, with dealing with all that nasty kemo and I am glad to hear she is improving. I can't imagine what your family has been through in dealing with the disease. My brother just went through 13 hrs of surgery for cancer, a few days ago, but he's not a child.
Hope to see you guys at Carlise.

Also great news about it being selected for the Barn find display.. That is way Cool.....
I'm NOT 100 percent sure BUT I think you drove that car to Hershey when the C3 Registry held a "gathering" there some years ago.... I was impressed then and I bet I;ll be impressed come August....
