The movie is large (3.5 megs) so you people on dial up beware.

You'll need Apple's QuickTime plug-in to view it.
She's only 2 1/2 but just loves to go for rides in Daddy's Vette.
She's the ultimate C3 enthusiast as she doesn't complain about the
crack in my upper dash pad, the stock am/fm radio, or what the wind
does to her hair.
I'm a lucky man,
Kurt

Vette(s): 1979 Black coupe. 11256 original, documented, miles on it when I bought it in April of 2000. It now has 13100 on it. Oyster interior, like new. Everything original, everything works, except the clock. Paint has a couple of minor flaws.
Hey Kurt,
That lil gal is jammin'. You have a really cute little girl. Consider yourself very lucky. She is right on the beat of the music. How did you record that while driving? Was a third person on board?
That was worth waiting to load up...

Wow! Now that makes owning a Vette totally worth my time and effort! I dig seeing kids having a great time with Vettes. It was worth the wait to load! You ARE a lucky man! Has she always liked your ride? What does your wife say? Does the little darling help out dad in the garage yet?

Hey Glen,
I thank you and my daughter thanks you.
That movie was recorded and cut together in about an hour.
I just put the old video camera on wide lens and hoped for the best.
We were listening to the stock am/fm radio (with those huge push buttons),
but my daughter was singing her own composition and be-bopping to
whatever tickled her fancy. She's a trip.
BTW, she is never this into a drive when were in the family Honda's.

Hey Dar,
Thanks for taking the time to download my movie.
I'm trying to get my little one as involved with the hobby (passion)
as early as possible. She can pick out most C3's at car shows
but hasn't grasped the concept of multi-generation Corvette's yet.
She loves playing with my 1/4" drive ratchets and is a real trooper
whenever I wash/wax the '76.
My wife just wishes they made a 3 seater Corvette, as she digs the
ride as well...although she DOES mind it when the wind makes
a rats nest of her hair.
Someday I'll teach her how to wave at other Vette's, but for now she
just digs the ride.

Now you have me jeoleous. My grandson hasnt even seen my Vette yet. He turned 4 on the 26th. I called him last night and he wants Pap to bring the Corvette out today. He lives 150 miles from me, so an evening trip is out, but I hope to see him on Sat. and take him for a ride in the Vette. I just hope my camera is working. Thanks for sharing your daughters experience with us.

Vette(s): White 1975 L48 Stingray 129,000 Miles, daily driver.
My uncle has an 80 Vette which is where I got my passion, and since my 75 will be back tonight I'm probably going over Saturday and he and I will drive my nieces around for a bit, have some fun =)
Always great to inspire the next generation to love the best cars ever. C3s

Just be careful while trying to get that footage. It wasn't easy keeping
one eye on the road and the other on my daughter. Most of the time I
just winged it and fortunately got some good footage.
Also getting that car seat strapped in wasn't the easiest of efforts...
Hope your Grandson digs the ride as much as my daughter did.
How could she not in your great white beauty?

Little girls are different than little boys I think. At least that's what my mother tells me. lol All you dads, grandads, brothers, uncles, etc. If you've got a little girl around you, take the time to spend with her if/when she wants or asks about cars. I cherish to this day all the times my dad and I "worked" on cars when I was little. I sure learned alot from him. He taught me the basics before I learned to drive. I'm 37, and I still miss those times with my dad. He's gone now for over 10 years, (getting teary here!) and I still think back to him telling me how cars run as I handed him tools and things, how to drive them, how to care for them. But most of all I remember how loving he was in explaining all this. He never lost his temper or raised his voice, even though I had a bad habit of breaking off head bolts while tightening them.....I was about 14 when that started! Cherish your little girls you guys, they won't be little for long and will soon want to drive your Vettes! So teach them well!

Oh yes, cherish them while you can. Only my wife and I know that I have already decided to give the 74 White Ghost to my grandson on his 16th birthday or when I die which ever comes first. (Personally, I hope I get to hand him the keys). That is only 12 years from now.
