Vette(s): 1979 Black coupe. 11256 original, documented, miles on it when I bought it in April of 2000. It now has 13100 on it. Oyster interior, like new. Everything original, everything works, except the clock. Paint has a couple of minor flaws.
Hey Kurt,

Too bad you didn't get a little more footage of the vette. It would make a great commercial for GM, and Corvette. You ought to sent them a copy of it anyhow, maybe your daughter could get famous....|thumb| |thumb|

You'll need Apple's QuickTime plug-in to view it.

She's only 2 1/2 but just loves to go for rides in Daddy's Vette.
She's the ultimate C3 enthusiast as she doesn't complain about the
crack in my upper dash pad, the stock am/fm radio, or what the wind
does to her hair.

I'm a lucky man,
Kurt

Dar,
I'm sorry for your early loss of your Father.
I'm sure "he's" sitting next to you everytime you take your sweet '82 CE
out for a drive. And I'm sure he's diggin' the ride. |angel|

Thanks for the reminder that little girls grow up all too fast.

Kurt

I didn't mean to diss the boys, it just seems like getting into cars and helping out dad in the garage is more natural to a boy than a girl. Mom's tend to baby little girls more I think. My mom never got the chance, I was a daddy's girl from the start. I would eat, sleep and be a happy baby for dad, but with mom, nope! lol

That would make a great commercial! It's Vette's 50th sooo......SEND IT TO THEM! It's too cute!

Someday, I plan on getting more footage of the Vette itself on the road -- in motion.
These cars look great standing still but literally are "poetry in motion."
Perhaps I can recut the video with this added footage, use the
"See the USA in a Chevrolet" song for background and make a real commercial.

Kurt

Kurt, that would be VERY VERY COOL! DO IT PLEASE! I know that I'd much rather see a cute little girl in a commercial with a classic C3, than some guy in a C5! No offense meant here to those of you who own and/or like C5's. Just the Vette is 50, and way more C3's have been born than C5's. I think it's all about history here.

Awesome!! I have a little girl too and I can't wait to take some movies of her in the car. Of course I will have to wait awhile, she's only 2 1/2. maybe that isn't a good idea afterall. She might expect it for her sweet 16 birthday gift |eek|

Would that be such a bad thing? I mean, I know that you'll be even more attached than now. But think of it this way. By that time, she'll know how to fix it herself unless it's something bad, then she can just pick up the phone, and call her Daddy. You'd still get to see AND work on the car all the time........or you could just buy her some other Vette if that's what she wants and keep yours all to yourself!
