That is a beautiful car! It obviously can be fixed, and I am sure you will get all the help, advice, and support you need from this forum.
Good Luck

Wow did you see someone on the "other" forum busting his balls for the accident. It sucks for someoneto tell you how wrong you are.......when you feel the pain and already know this!

I haven't read anything posted on CF, but...my first thought, when I read the cause of the accident, was...well...
I ain't gonna kick the guy while he's down. We ALL make mistakes...I've made more than my share of questionable decisions while driving. It's just amazing no-one was seriously hurt. The car IS repairable...people, for the most part, ain't, once they're gone...

like you all said .. thank god no one was seriously injured. alot of work went into that car. i know how easy it is to lose it with 500+ ponies at your feet. when some one wants to pass me ... i just stay steady and let him go. the roads are no place to fool around.
Eddie is this the car you posted on vette tube ... first start up or something like that.

That's one big OUCH!
I feel for your friend, Eddie.
I hope he gets her fixed and continues to enjoy his car.

I also hate to see that knowing that I m going on a long road trip and I have to be on the look out for people not driving defensively, some people change lanes and don't look, almost bought it in LA last year..Shiver me timbers.. I know.. I'll watch the IPOD and have Elba on the look out...LOL

I read this the other day and hated seing the car all broken up like that.I was glad to read nobody was hurt. I knew how bad he must have felt. It is good that he has friends close for support.
Is he considering another vette or is it over with? One thing for sure that ride will always be embedded in his memory. It sure was a pretty thing.
On another but similar note how is that LS1 in your car? I have always admired your ride and that would just help add more value to the sweetness for me...

[QUOTE=Redwingvette]Gald no one was hurt. We can rebiuld it, better, stronger, faster, etc....
Brian, how is it going? Have you been back to Lenior City lately?
This is Mikes car and he is a good friend. We were going to meet for breakfast and then go work on my car at his house. Never to happen that day.
Mikes motor is a 540. It made big horsepower on the engine dyno when it was tested. Never been tested in the car, that was to be in the spring when I was to tune my LS conversion. I guess we will wait on his chassis dyno run now.
I really like the wheeels. What motor does he have?
