Vette(s): 1975 C3 Red, T-Tops, Black Interior. All I need is time and money! Getting there!

I took my C3 out on Saturday and met up with the Tide sponsored NASCAR.  Yes the one that runs in the actual races.

I got to take my Corvette nose to nose with the Tide NASCSAR.   It's not too often you get a chance to do something like that.  My daughter Megan went with me.  She thought I was nuts.

So how did I do?   See for yourself.   NOSE TO NOSE WITH NASCAR!  Shocked   Big%20smile

Vewy Kewl, Ken!!!

I've got some pics of the Kyle Petty/Brawny Towel #45 in my shop...it had a shifter problem, and the truck driver wanted me to take a look-see at it(my reputation runs rampant around here)!! You should have seen all the Gomers down the street runnin to see this car in our shop, up on a lift!!!
I did git a few caps, and autographed pics of the car, as well as a TON of coupons for free paper towels!!!

Nice goin, Ken!!

Dr.Styer, I mean it's OK, but, lets get some paint on her, shes nakedShocked.. Maybe I should make an appointment with the house resident Doctor and have the air checked in your tires? Uh..check the level of your antifreeze? check for antibodies in your stool? I'm speechless Unhappyshe is in the same condition as the last time I saw her in Tennessee? I understand your not young anymore but, how about a finish before time ends? Is it the sauce again?

SOLD - "Betty" - '28 Ford Model A Tudor

SWEET...!!!  I'm amazed that there were not any barriers or ropes around the Tide car.  Usually you can't get within 6 feet of those beasts.

Rest assured, progress is always being made.  One many of the other things are done, it will get paint.  Too cold now.

The guy with the Tide Nascar said they get a lot of request like mine.  Many pictures out there like that.

Vette(s): had a really nice one. sold it to a good friend. Purchased 2004 custom coupe in Feb. 2009 did not tell anyone here until August 2009. BAD I KNOW.
The way I see that there picture Ken is that you were running so fast and hard the the TIDE car is running backwards trying to get away from you, then again I have been told that I see the world from a different tilt. nice pic though.

Dr. Styer, in my humble opinion there is exactly ONE great-looking, true classic, category-dominating, looks-fast-just-sitting-there, world-famous, just plain fabulous iconic American car in that photo.

The other is some traveling billboard for soap powder...

(now, if there just happened to be a C6-R alongside yours, then things might be a little more equal!)

And Dr. Adams--does your '74 know you were flirting with................a Dodge??
