Hello folks,

I feel I need to retract my original statement about Mr. Geoffery Coenen, aka Dr. Rebuild. After trading several e-mails with him, I've formed a new opinion, and I think it's only fair that I say this, so please bear with me.

In my original post, back in April 2004, I stated that I would not patronize Dr. Rebuild again, because of rude service. Dr. Rebuild recently sent me an e-mail, stating that, according to his records, I did not order the part that I was talking about, specifically, a heater core seal kit. He checked his sales records from the past two years, and did not find it. In essence, saying I was not telling the truth. I responded to him, that it was either in 2000 or 2001 that I ordered the part, and it took close to three weeks to ship it. After the Dr. searched further into his records, he found my record of sale, and the delay in shipping. He sent me an e-mail that will forever change my opinion of his company. With his permission, heres the e-mail.....

Mr. Alan Gribble:

Sound fair to me. Your right about the prior order, I had just looked at 2003 & 2004. Never thought to look at 2000. I apologize and retract my statement. I cannot remember any of details from that date.

I have been a victim of our success. The more that people liked the parts and told others, the more the volume increased and the staff never really caught up with the volume. We have always tried to give customers prompt service and always told them the truth when we could not meet their expectations, even when it resulted in a no sale. I hate it when someone says they got the parts but really do not.

Thank you for your support.
Geoffrey Coenen

This, to me, speaks volumes about who someone is, and I respect that greatly. He did not have to say anything to me, because I wasn't a "big money" customer, but he took the time, and did his homework, just to find the facts. We even spoke about families, and he had nothing but courtesy, and respect when talking about my family.

In addition, the quality of the items that I've purchased from the Dr. has been top-notch. Just looking through the catalog, you can tell. With the extra tips, and stories on how the products are made, and researched, the quality is there.

I'm not receiving any compensation, nor was I coerced into writing this. I am doing this, because I think it's the right thing to do.

So, I officially retract my negative comments regarding the Dr. Rebuild company, and its my opinion that I will definately be doing business with this man in the future.

Thank you for reading my comments.

Alan Gribble
