I want to listen.
I need some photo's of your "Pride & Joy."

Was with you until you said the two most hated words in my world (Send Pictures). I can say that I became of driving age in mid 1967. When the 68 Vette came out that was it for me. I knew I had to have one one day. I worked for a car wash after school and on sat. Sat. was my day, you see a used car lot about 4 blocks up the street had a contract to have his cars washed every Sat. This wasn't just a used car lot it was a used Corvette car lot. Well it was my job to go get them one by one and have them all spiffed up. I drove every kind of Vette known to man. Anyway I bought a brand new 1970 Z/28 cortez silver with a 4 speed. Fast forward. I started my quest for my C3. I did my homework for close to 8 mos. I paired it down to a 78SA, 78PC, 82CE. Well I went with the CE (liked the opening rear hatch). Found it down in Tampa. Bought it from the original owner. He had everything paperwork wise for the car. I call it my Vettes medicial records. Even had the window sticker, shop manual, assy manual, an AA/UT model of the car. 32,000 documented miles. I had it down to the first song I was going to play. Foghat, easy money, and then slow ride. I had a blast. My wife drove the support car. My grand dauther was with me dressed up like Paris Hilton (don't ask). Thats about it for now. Oh by the way the Blind Faith song is "can't find my way home" 3:16. Very cool song. I asked you in another thread for some mind teasers. I've got another one for you. Really two. Spooky Tooth album with a great title, "you broke my heart so I busted your jaw" also, how about King Crimsion, in the court of the crimsion tide. I've got more. I remember when Grand Funk Railroad used to be called Terry Knight and the pack. Come on now give me somehing to work with. Later my friend.
It's funny what you remember after the haze clears. Don't tell anyone but I still love the BEE GEES. They are a national treasure from down under. Any Aussies reading this. THANK YOU!!! "Take this brother, may it serve you well". What band said that. Clue - BIG band. And they wore those funny boots.

I think you may not get the results you are looking for right away Micki. As they say, "timing is everything." The weather has finally broke for most of the U.S. and I myself have little time to sit at the 'puter composing a news article. I come online for a few minutes of the day to check things over, and then it's off to yard/house chores and then I'm getting in plenty of cruise time in the vette. Our season is short unfortunately. So don't fret, the stories will eventually come. When I do get some down time I will try to get you my story in support of the Magazine.
My story was already in the C3VR newsletter.
You can use it if you want it.
If you want, I could update it and send some current pics.

Just bought a 75 from a guy in Georgia. It's yellow with 52K original miles. Original everything including license plate and all documentation and repair receipts. I've been thinking of getting one for about 5 years now. Just about bought a real fixer upper last year. Glad I waited! Don't get me wrong, it needs some definite TLC but it's a start. I've wanted one since I was about 12 around 1969. My first car was a Chevy Vega with aluminum engine that didn't work out too good! Swore I would never buy another Chevy product until it hit me how much I wanted a Corvette. Over the last week my 11 yr. old son and I have had a lot of fun starting the restoration.
