Now that I'm back in the world of cars that I can actually wrench on....I need manuals!

What is your opinions on the best shop manuals, parts manuals for my '73?

I need a darn GM owners manual too!

What are the best places or businesses to order replacement parts?

I know there are shops that specialize in certain components, but I'm looking for a general items at first.

Corvette Central? Ecklers? Mid-America?

Aim me in the right direction.

E-Bay Motors- Manuals and Literature sometimes have good manuals cheap. Owners manuals too. I'd check them out first.

Haynes repar manual gives great pictures and instructions. I bought mine on ebay motors under literature and manuals for $10.00. Also found an orginal owners maual for my 76 there too for $15.00. you can find almost any manual you want there at different times.keep looking  from time to time and you will find them.

Check Amazon, better prices than the parts houses.

Gheeze Truck Guy.....I though I read your home town as Bloomington
then I read it agiabn...opps...

But I would be looking for the  regular GM shop manuel... and it does not need to be  for the  73...  69 thru 72 would work just as well...

Hate to tell you this but in my expereince over the last 30 years
wrenching on Corvettes (as a hobby) the very first step  in almost every
repair job is ...DISSAMBLE the entire car...  or at least it seems that way to me... lol....

Anyway... I just have a lot more faith in the Factory Manuels..and they car be found at major swap meets. on e-bay etc...
