Vette(s): I sold mine
Hello everyone. I suppose it's time I stop lurking and introduce myself. I just bought my first Vette last month and I'm pretty excited. Of course I've been hearing what many of you probably have heard, "Is this your mid-life crisis?" I told my wife that it isn't mid-life if you would have bought this car at any point in your life. I got it now because I could finally afford to have it as well as a couple of other more practical vehicles. I haven't driven my car much yet as it needs some minor engine repair and my mechanic started on it then went on vacation. I really don't want to be driving it and giving rides, etc... while it doesn't run well. So, I'm being very patient while you all are having fun!

Welcome, Trent! I got asked at my "mid-life crisis" car a lot , too. And I bought the thing when I was 18! Now, here we are six years later, married, house, etc. The Vette is the only thing we own, lol. Of course, it's also the least reliable. That's why I am here. Fix a little thing here, a big thing there, learn as much as possible so as not to repeat many of the mistakes I made earlier. Good luck!
