Thank everyone or their responses. Unfortunately I didn't get to meet up with Ken. By the time I got back to my dads house, it was late and still had things to do then I had to leave the following morning. My apologies Ken, I fell bad about that.
Now about the Vette: (remember, this is an all original, numbers matching car that has had little to no work done on it)
Exterior: It looks great, the paint is still nice and glossy. It had some spidering on the front and rear bumpers. There are some nicks here and there I would guess from things bumping into it during storage. My uncle was not a great pay attention to detail because there is dried wax all over the creases of the car. So the exterior cosmetics get about 7 out of 10. The weather seals are in real nice condition. They are nice and soft and plyable. The headlights work good and pops up good. The passenger side one comes up a little slower than the drivers side. Maybe a little WD40 will resolve this problem. The hood sags about 1/8 inch on both sides in the middle. Kind of expect that on fiberglass hoods.
Interior: The seat cushions will need to be replaced. There is no real wear on the upholstery at all. The carpet needs a good cleaning. The middle arm rest needs to be replaced because it is cracked. All interior vinyle needs are good cleaning. All the guages work accurately as far as I can tell. The original radio works good and the speaker sounds good. I think he only got the AM/FM mono radio because there is no balance knob and only one speaker comes on. He gave me the original leather bags for the T-tops when they are stored inside the car. All the glass is in perfect condition.
Mechanics: He put in a new battery a few days before I picked it up so no problem there or electrically. All lights and turn signals work. All the vacuum hoses are soft and plyable with no leaks. The radiator and heater hoses almost look brand new. The fan belts appear to be brand new but all these are original to the car. When I first started the car, three pumps to the gas pedal and voom, there was a slight ticking on the drivers side. After I pulled it off the trailer, I let it idle for a good 45 minutes checking for any leaks and such but there were none. The engine runs smooth but could use a tune up. There is a real small leak on the transmission line coming out of the radiator. I'll have to replace the hose and clamps. The exhaust seems to have a slight leak of what sounds like a doghnut gasket on the passenger side. It has new mufflers on it. I am not sure how old those are but appears to be new. The brake pedal feels real good but I think the emergency brake needs to be adjusted a little.
All in all, this car is almost ready for the road.
Planned: Change all the fluids and filters, replace the tires (I just don't trust them even though they look good), detail the car inside and out. Feel the car out on some short trips. This winter I plan on taking out the seats and having them restuffed. Long term, repaint the car after striping off the old paint.
My wife took some pictures but I haven't had time to upload them from the camera. I'll try to do that tonight.
Does anyone know what color the rims are supposed to be? This car has the ralley wheels that has the beauty rings and center cap. He gave me another set of rings as well. There is some surface rust on the rims and I want to replace them along with the tires.
If anyone has any questions, let me know.
I believe the stock ralley wheels should have a black primer coat covered by argent silver on the outside. Not sure about the inside if they're fully painted silver or not (I haven't looked at mine lately as 'BIGBRRD' is wearing them at the moment).
It sure sounds like a keeper...!!! CONGRATS...!!!

The ralley rims were painted with a black "primer", and then the front sides were painted with either silver, or "Argent Silver", depending on who you ask.(Argent Silver has a greenish tint in it) There should be some overspray on the back sides of the rims, around the holes/slots.
Good luck with your new "Baby"!!
