Looking good Don Thumbs Up. Looks like you're real close to cruising again. Did you mention what color she'll be ? Man, I'd love to learn to apply paint.

Don,
Don't overlook ebay...alot of things that are not corvette specific are there. I am rebuilding a small block for mine now and I did the 700R4 tranny last year and found alot of stuff on ebay at a much better price than the corvette sites. I use Mid-America, Ecklers, and Riks mostly for the vette stuff. Have fun with it....that's what they are for.

Gonna go back w/the original Ontario Orange and dark saddle deluxe interior.  I think those colors are beautiful if well done.  The original softtop was white, but I'm thinking about going with tan.  I think tan would work better and it can always be changed.  What do y'all think?

I used to be pretty handy with a paint gun and I plan on laying some of the paint on this one, but the guy in the photos is my buddy and it's his shop.  I've done a LOT of sanding/blocking on the car, but  he's a much more experienced painter than me.  He's painted showing winning hot rods in the past and currently owns a killer custom '39 Chevy that he resurrected from a field with a tree growing through it.  It's absolutely stunning.  I'm very lucky to have him as a friend and close neighbor.  He only lives four houses down from me...

Here's his car:

Speaking of parts...  You know those tabs at the bottom of the front and rear fenders that the rocker moldings attach to?  Well, I have two that are broken - one is completely broken off and the other partially.  Do any of you know if you can buy those apart from having to buy full fender assemblies?  We're in the process of fabricating new ones, but they'll never be as good as new ones - close, but not perfect.  Just wondering...

Thanks guys and I'll have more photos along the way.
