Glenn---like you, I've experienced other drivers creeping up to my Vette, just so they can have a better look. This happens at stoplights, but other drivers also tailgate Mary for the same reason---or else they're just not intimidated enough by Mary's size. This does <i><u>not</i></u> happen when I drive my wife's Ford F-150 pick-up. Other drivers give us a wide berth with her!

I guess I wasn't clear - the wheel diameter doesn't have to be the same, just the overall tire diameter. I'm guessing the 315's are 40 or 45 series, or about 27" diameter. That means a 15" wheel and 235/70 tire would be the same diameter.
(I am not checking any tire charts for these numbers, but you should get the idea.)

1. don't have the same diameter...had 17s (wheels) on it nowand 315s on the back!

Just make sure that your spare is the same O.D. as your regular tires. Mismatched tire diameters on the rear will eat a posi in as little as 40 miles!!!
