The engineering staff,foremen,and maintenance departments where allowed to leave at 1:30 pm and day shift was let off to vote at 2 pm..

Unfortunately, I was there in engineering and my 1st father in law was the General Foreman of the Natural Bridge Ave, St.Louis,city,Mo. Plant.

I think after this memory stroll,I need a tonic of sorts
