What did the motor goto that you had to change the conectors?
It came with a different electrical connection and I did not like the fit, and did not want to have a loose connection after putting the door panel back on, if you know what i mean. I just changed it to solderless connectots. Been in 9 months now, and what a difference it makes. I will replace the driver side this winter even tho it work "OK" ...

The money will continue to go into it even when you think you're almost "done" with what you want to do, something else will come up!!  I blew away my original estimate of what I thought it would take to get my vette where I wanted it.  Every now and then I add some more to my running spreadsheet and every time I just have to laugh.  When a few of my friends ask me how much I'm at I just have to laugh and say don't worry about it... they are the type that would think I'm nuts because any car to them is just a means to get from point A to point B.  I do it because I enjoy it.

I learned my lesson 2 yrs. ago. We have some new neighbors and they are great people. One weekend Ted came into my garage" the local hang-out" for guys our age"old" anyway he sees me under my vette and say "What happend!" did you hurt it?  I mean he has seen me driving this thing back and forth to work everyday all summer long. NO just changing Transmisions. OH, is there something wrong with the one in it? No. Just would like to have Over-Drive for better gas mileage. SO YOUR RIPPING THIS ONE OUT! THAT WORK JUST FINE. SO YOU CAN PUT THIS ONE IN FOR BETTER GAS MILEAGE? Well they just don't get it----do they. Corvette people are differant. So now I just tell them"Oh just a little up grade"because they will never understand. Keep Rebuilding them its only money!
