Vette(s): 2004 Commemorative Edition Coupe, Auto w/HUD. 13K miles in 2015. Sold 1982 Red Coupe
It was sunny here and 81 degrees F. Nearly broke the record for the day.
But sadly, it was also the day I tucked the old girl away for another Winter.
On a positive note, I can stash away some funds now for all those "to do" items planned for next Spring.
One thing I plan to do this Winter is repair the driver's side seat bottom. It developed a small rip near my left hip. Plus it had a small rip near my left knee. There are a couple of places in town that do great work.

What do you plan to do this Winter?

I want to pull my center console and fix my shift indicator, cigarette lighter and that pesky bouncing fuel gauge...

Gonna pull the seats so I can get to it all....

If funds and time permits I may tackle the power locks as well.

Being in Arizona, we are just getting our Corvettes out FOR the winter! I still have to finish getting mine back together after a new paint job in the summer!

By the look at what the weather is going to be, I'd say it was none too soon, Dave. Our son lives in Sayre, Pa. and we are all hoping and praying the storm isn't as bad as the weathermen say it could be for all of you up there in the northeast.

Ditto here Larry, we've lots of relatives on the east coast and we're praying for every one's safety in the path of the coming storms. Out here, it's just going to get a little wetter and cooler for the winter, it just makes it a little more difficult to work on the vettes. Trouble is, I haven't even begun the projects I hoped to start for last summer Unhappy. Home maintenance has priority, but I will get to drive when the weather is good. I always keep at least 2 ready to hit the road Big smile.

Vette(s): 1978 Silver Anniversary L82 4spd (M21) Red Leather. Pace Car is in the hands of a new caretaker.
Gonna pull the carb on the Pace Car and send it out. local guy thinks the base plate is warped causing vacuum leak. All I know is that it runs like crap. Thinking about rear wheel bearings and trailing arms on the Silver Ann. That too, I'll rip apart and send it out.
Also trying to get my new garage finished up as much as possible before winter.

Why do you guys from the southwest have to start rubbing it in this time of the year? It's like throwing salt on a wound when we're putting the cars away. LOL

Install new glass front and rear (bumper covers). Fill in the seams (bumper covers). Prepare entire body for paint. Then back to chasing my wife around the houseWink

I'm in Az too but up in the high country 32 degrees last night high of 50 today, so I'm getting ready to batten her down for the winter, body repairs, bearing, a lil TLC.

I have to paint my trike so it will be getting the garage love this winter.

And I'll be chasing the wife around as well Evil Smile

Yup, I just tucked her away the other day. The GTO is next.

Hopefully I make a lot of overtime $$$ this winter. If all goes well I should be able to do my 5.3 LS engine swap in the spring. Everything else is pretty much done.
