EBO, Thanks for remembering! The hood looks awesome. I bought it from ACI and picked it up at the Carlise Corvette shw this year. She now looks like a 71 LT1! Despite the fact she came off the line as a standard L48. I'm on the fence about the LT1 hood decal package. But I have time debate that in my head. I'm looking forward to getting the in process pictures of the painting!

Jason, I have a memory like an elephant.
I remember telling you to go to ACI to get the hood.
I remember telling you they will bring it to Carlisle to get free shipping.
I remember going to their booth in the morning to see if you were their yet.
I remember going back to their booth later and they told me you did pick up the hood.
I remember not being able to meet you Unhappy

I think you can fix all the above by giving me a ride in the "Black Widow" Wink

Still have'nt stored mine yet either. No salt on the roadways yet and the weather around here remains good for Corvettes!

Last saturday I went to top off the tank and add the Stabil. It was 65 degrees, so my son and I decided to go for a little ride. 70 miles later the tank needed topping off again.

Today it was 50 degrees and SUNNY! Off we went for another ride. Just can't seem to keep the tank full.
It really runs good in the cool, dry air!

Enjoy 'em while you can.
Kevin

I've had mine out about 3 times since "putting it away". Weather here has been up and down but no salt yet. Had it out today for an hour long run as it's about 50F and sunny. Topped up the tank on the way home and a bit nore Stabil just in case it's the last run. Thursday is looking good as well this week so just maybe another run...they're calling for wet snow by Saturday.

Greg.

Good lookin' out, Dave. I hope you had a good ride, too.

It looks like that "sad day" is coming real soon. Maybe we can hold it off a little longer.

Don't know when (or if) I'll be putting mine up.  We're in the middle of a drought here and with temps in the 60's and 70's, I don't know if we will have much winter.  Forecasters say a mild winter, so we'll just have to see.  Anyway, still get to drive for now.
