I need this decoded plz... trim tag says.... chevrolet J21...trim std....paint 992 WHere can I get a book to do this for myself? Thx

What year car is it? J21 could be May, June, July 21st, build date, depending on the year.
992 could be Corvette Bronze(68), or Laguna Grey(70).
The most popular data books would be the "Corvette Black Book", and the NCRS "Pocket Spec Book".
The Black book is available from any of the Corvette vendors, such as Bair's, or Mid-Am.
The NCRS spec book is available from NCRS, and a few vendors.

Correct. 5/21/68. My '68 convertible is one month younger. Her date is 4/20/68.
STD for interior trim is black vinyl.
