well the hardtop is a big plus...
I wish I had one...
are you sure the engine/ trans is numbers match ??
if it is.. then it jumps the value up significantly..
find and print out the relevant block casting numbers and trans numbers.. for this car.
make sure to check engine and trans VIN for match with car. (I found its easier to take a 5 ton floor jack and a pair of jack stands with me when I go look at a car, also a high powered flashlight and magnifying glass.)
im trying to figure out under what circumstances you would change the radiator on a car with 16,000 miles. Even the brakes should have lasted that long. and if the car is in nice shape it must have been garaged.. i would think exhaust would have lasted through 16K miles, even spread out for 30 years. (i bought a 67 dodge in 93 that had 19K and garaged for years... it had original brakes, exhaust and radiator..)
it sounds nice.. and I hope it is exactly as promised, but you cant take someones word for it.. you need to check it out thoroughly... changing the mileage on an older car is very easy.
some of these things depend on where the car lives..
if its up north where the salt the roads.. a new exhaust would be expected..
in great condition Id say 17K
look one ebay... you wont see one that sold for higher than 17K
The replacement parts don't worry me that much, although I also wonder about the radiator. My 78 SA with 1500 miles had the rear calipers and master cylinder replaced when I got it. 25 year old brake fluid does wonders to the system, how many people actually change it as often as needed. I also had to replace the rear Y pipe as there was a 18 inch crack in it(factory defect?) I plan to check nos. thouroughly on the 75. First owner had it til 2000 putting 10K miles on it. Present owner bought a new C5. From the pics it appears to be a left alone Vette. No under hood detailing, probably 30 year old dust on the undercarrage, etc. I'll know soon. Mike
