"Original" always adds to the price. The law of "supply and demand" is alive and well in da Corvette world!

Well, they don't make this type of glass fuse anymore, and, when judging, they do count for the originality portion. Most judges won't go thru the trouble of verifying this, but some will, and they may gig ya for a point each!

Along the same, twisted logic...I bought an original, in da A/C box, PF-25 erl filter for the '74...and I'll probably never even screw it on the engine. Paid...$40!!!

Vette(s): Silver 1974 Convertible - L82 4 speed Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses. 2008 Jetstream Blue Convertible
Alot of what people will pay on e-bay has to do with timing.  If no one's looking for it when you sell, you lose.  If lots of people need it when you are selling, you can really make out.  I recently sold a part that I had bought earlier on e-bay for $10 for $85.

I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!
