It is finished.  We bought it in boxes the weekend before 9/11/01.  It was in the middle of a divorce and sat in the mother-in-laws yard under a tree for five years.  After zillions of dollars, I have no idea how many, it is painted and it runs very well.  Modifications are: Ecklers one piece front end, Ron Francis wires, Killer Lights and Hot Rod Air.  It was manufactured in January 73, the same month my daughter was born, and indeed has a take out back window, which was discontinued in 72.  Leftovers I suppose.  It is silver and has a red interior and rides like a rail car, which was stock in those days as I recall.  Everything works.

Glad to hear its running!! But, really..........are they ever finished?!
Congrats!!!

As far as your rear window, it would not have been installed at the factory, BUT.... all of the brackets and holes needed for it were there. There were a lot of people who did install the removable rear glass on the '73-74 cars, because it was really easy to do so. Enjoy it, regardless!!!

I have a 74 and that removable rear glass sounds great.  Anyone know where I can get some more info on that?

I will post pictures of it as soon as I figure out how to do it.  It is never finished, have no idea how much $ is in it but we are sure proud of it.  Sure learned a lot about a C-3 and the differences in each year.  Some parts just will not fit.

Congratulations

I know restorations are full of pains, but the end result is nothing but joy.
