Vette(s): 1968 convertable - 427 B.B. International Blue exterior - Dark Blue interior - Power Steering - Power Brakes - Dual Quad Carbs - 4 speed - Power windows
I purchased a HEI at the Carisle show for my 1968 B.B. / 427. Mine has a resister now. I have heard from 2 sources 2 different things on how to wire up. Has anyone here done this , and what did you do, as for as wiring?

You would no longer need the balast resistor. I found this online it should help
http://www.pertronix.com/support/manuals/pdf/hei.pdf I am not sure if it is your exact HEI but it should help get you going in the right direction
