That car is 1 of 16 1969 L-88's built with an automatic tranny. The plaque in front of it said it was immediately torn apart after purchased new in 1969 and re-built for drag strip duty. The current owner got his hands on it a few years back and restored it back to new condition.Daytona69 38405.5690625

You went way south, that's really nice country to joy ride in . I enjoyed it when I drove for a living, I can only imagine how it must have been driving in such a great classic. Now you have some wonderful memories to share.
Wow, it's now in my dreams, the open road with my C-3 together as one. Non stop until I'm tired, looking down the hood and seeing the road ahead and the arch of the two front fenders, the purr of the engine and the warmth of the leather seat..O'Boy...I want to go cross country....Terry
