Need some help? A while back there was a post about plugging old holes in metal so that you could re drill the correct size hole and position where an old hole had just gotten too big from over use. I guess something like jb weld but it was different. I need to redo the holes in the car doors where you attach the interior pad and arm rest and door handle. I think bigger and bigger screws were used to hold the larger holes but now the screws are too large to fit into the door pad and handle to be able to screw them into the existing noles. So I need to plug them up and then re drill the proper size hole. I believe ti was maybe 3-4 months ago but not sure under what topic it was posted. Thanks

A quick and simple fix, say for interior screws, is to cut a paper clip and hang it in the hole. This will force the screw to one side holding the panel in place.
