So far Ive found alot of rust I may need a need a new to redo to window area. Also my body mounts are no being cooperative so it looks like I may have to cut the bolts to get teh body shell off. Other than that thing are well just wanted to give yall a heads up on my progress. aslo how hard is it to remove the front window and how do I go about doing that?

You might want to start accumulating parts now. I spent over 6 months looking at catalogs and buying parts for my car. This saved a lot of time when putting it back together. The barn looked like a mini Corvette Central for a while.

The front glass is bonded pretty well to the frame there...it has to be "cut" out, and it's difficult to do without damaging either it, or the dash. I've always preferred to remove windersheilds in the heat of summer, when the sealant is most soft, as it makes it less prone to breaking the glass. I have, however, seen guys that can do it in the dead of winter, with bailing wire, and not damage anything!
I would say, if you've never done it, get someone how has, and can do it right, to either help, or let them do it.
The "special" tools that you can buy to cut the glass out are ok if you're experienced in using them, but you can also break the glass within seconds if you're not careful. The best way is by using piano wire, a couple of wooden dowels, and a TON of patience...

Yaaaaaaaaaaa a picture is worth a thousand words!!! Anybody want my picture ??? I can scare all the crows off !!
Good to see another LA C3 person!
I agree with Luke on subbing it out. Trust me, if the glass has issues, you will be sorry that you did not change it out during all of your work in progress. Nothing worse than a completely rebuilt ride and scarry looking glass!
That's just my .02
