Well done groovyjay, looks sweet

Your vette is steller! Great job! That is something to be proud of.

Absolutely a head turner, awesome interior, paint job and new wheels. Describe the paint job: Taken down how far before repainting, coats of black , clear, and polish if any.And cost if you wish to say. That would be great for all of us who are looking into new paint jobs. The rear end on the wall, your old one? The new wheels look larger so how has the tire size changed?
Congrats on a great job and car!

Vette(s): 1969 Daytona Yellow Coupe - ZZ4/4 speed, Hurst shifter, Griffin aluminum radiator w/ Dual Spals, March Serpentine Pulley kit, Hookers with STS Racing Baffles, VB&P Suspension bits, 17" AR Hopsters, L-88 Hood
Great looking '79! The 20' wheels - Torqthrust II's? - and sidepipes really set off the look of the car. One thing I don't think you've mentioned...what's lurking under the hood of this animal? My guess is the motor is no less trick then the rest of the car.

Thanks man, I haven't been keeping count on how much I've spent during these last three years, but I know that I could have easily bought a brand spanking new ZO6 for the money
