my red sled has been pulling to the right. i replaced the steering cylinder ,no change.aligned her, no change.she has new tires. i bought a $12.50 rebuild kit from napa yesterday and am going to the driveway to take out the steering valve now. in the rain, figure i have corvette fever anyway so what if i get corvette pnuemonia. this should take couple of hours so ill let you ll know what happens
if anybody has any suggestions i would love to hear them.

There are a number of things that could cause your Corvette to pull one direction or the other. If your PS control valve is going bad, it could be "out of balance" and might be the primary cause. Once you get the valve rebuilt just make sure to follow the balancing procedure that is outlined in the Chevy Shop Manual.
There are also some excellent tech articles on http://www.corvettefaq.com. Actually, the articles are in there "Suspension and Steering" section which is located at http://www.corvettefaq.com/susp.asp. There are several articles related to control valve overhaul.

Could the brakes be grabbing slightly and pulling it??

The simplist thing that no one ever seems to check is tire pressure.
im a dunce, glenn is right! 23 lbs. in the right front, now she is ok again .it was still better than being in the house . thanks everyone !
