Ramp Extentions

Lookin to weld up some ramp extentions to accomadate my "79".  Anyone done this and if so how long did you make them to provide the necessary clearance?  Will be attaching them to standard car ramps.  Confused

That depends on the slope of the current ramps. You need to extend them only enough so that the tires are starting up the ramp before the front air dam contacts a portion of the ramps.

You should be able to set the ramps in front of the wheels so they clear the bumper and get a good measurement on the side.
 
BTW, nice looking ride. See you in Carson City in June.
