Before I got my first vette a good friend told me "remember, vettes are made for cruising". So I tried a bunch of combinations at the secretary of states office to get a plate that had cruising in it - I landed on RUCRUZN - and that's been her name ever since

I have today purchased a 1980 c3 coupe. Eldest daughter calls it my "penis extension" as she thinks it is a mid life crisis thing.

It's called "The Boat".  because I'm just like the guy who has a small yacht in his backyard who pours lots of time and money into it, but it's never been on the water.

My '80 Vette got tagged with "four fingers" after her owner, yours truly. As one could expect - there's a story behind it. But between the paint last fall, the new motor next week, and the interior on order - she's reaching money pit status. I wouldn't have it any other way!

I call my '68 Rally Red Roadster Shark "Number 10"......Why? Well it is my 10th corvette........also #1 was also was a '68 C3 and then came the '75 Shark and they were followed by  2 C4s, 2 C5s, 3 C6s including a Torch Red Grand Sport Roadster...........The lines on the C3 are the best representation of flow, style and art combined.  The shape epidimizes speed while standing still.............all wrapped up it one word.....BEAUTIFUL.....which in my mind equals a "10"
