What wheels/tires do you have on your Vette?

I have the O.E.M. wheels, trim rings and center caps. Repainted and very nice. They are my favorite style. B F Goodrich T A radials are the traction getters. Again, nice tires and a favorite brand for me. 

Replaced the original Alloy wheels (which I kept) with correct 1978 anniversary Alloy wheels and center caps.  Wanted the original external look of the vette to remain stock.

I replaced my old original Ralleys with new 15" Wheel Vintique Ralleys from Summit.

Had thought about going to a 17" rim but not the Ralley look as they just look out of proportion.

I have both the trim rings and center caps and also a set of P02 wheel covers.

We have aftermarket alloy wheels fitted to our '78.  They we put on when we bought the car by Tom Falconer, of the UK's Claremont Corvette, to replace the hideous wide, wire wheels that the car had when we first viewed it!    They are however, for a later, 80 -0n, Corvette, but I like the look of them.

That said, they are a real pain to balance, needing a huge amount of weight to overcome what I assume is rather poor casting.  I've no idea who made them, so am reluctant to buy others in case they are the same!  Id' be interested to hear of Vette78RL's experiences with his new set and, where he bought them.

Bought the entire four wheel set from Mid America Motorworks.  They sell it under part #642-376.  Have had them since 2013.  I have all my tire work done at my local factory Goodyear shop.  They've never had a problem balancing them.  To not mar or distract the appearance on the outside of the wheel, they're always balanced only with the weights on the inside. 

Still using the original Rally wheels with trim rings and center cap. 

Thanks!   My tyre man puts the weights in the "slots" so as to not spoil the appearance.  But he would really like to put weights on the inner rim, but on our wheels there is no useful inner rim for "hammer on" weights and the clearance is too tight to the calliper to add stick on weights to the inner edge.   It make it difficult to balance them.    
Hence I was wondering about replacements, original style or maybe Torque Thrusts.......😄

The weights they use are peel & stick.  They're soft metal and cut to the size they need.  They adhere them to the back rim of the wheel.  The adhesive is super sticky and I've never had one fall off.  This shop works a lot with alloy, mag and custom wheels for their customers.  I never go anywhere else when it comes to wheel and tire work.  Unfortunately,  Goodyear no longer sells a P255/60-15 size tires but they can get the P255/60-15 B.F. Goodrich Radial T/A's I run so its all good.

For something different than most...Wheels are original Appliance WireMags from the early 70's.
