Where are the windshield squirters? I have hoses attached to the wiper motor, which I assume is the fluid pump, which are tucked away unattached cuz the PO couldn't find the squirters to attach them to. I cannot figure out where they are either. Disapprove

Vette(s): 1980 L-48 still in the middle of a frame-off.

The original design called for the hoses to be routed inside the left front fender well, around the fender support and then coming inside the dash before exiting to the front cowl and the clipped on to the spray unit.

Since early 1970 1/2 a new route was established that proves going north towards the polar region actually reduces time and fuel costs.........   Oh wait that's for a Volvo car.

The squirters are located on the wiper arms....... serious that's where they are at on my 80.

Dang it I need to check my blood sugar again. :)  lol

Yeah...the washer sprayers on the early cars were part of the wiper arm. Some years there was a metal tube, some years was just the rubber hose with clips. IF your wiper arms have been replaced, there may not be any skwerters on them....Ouch

On a 72, there are copper tubes that are attached to the wiper arms.  The hoses are attached to the tubes near the bottom of the wiper arm.

I love this place <snif>.....cool. Do both hoses run into the wiper bay through the large access hole near the right hand hood latch pin? Cuz thats' where they be hiding right now, with a fat vac hose or 2 that looks oughta place.

My 72 run separately into the wiper bay thru grommeted holes . One to the left , just past the wiper motor and the other to the right , almost next to the wiper door actuator and the stop switch for the wiper door. That being said , BUBA could have been there , but the grommet end holes appear to be original. My wipers have the copper tubing running along the arms , held in place by tinnnnny clips and BUBA' s zip tie. Hope this helps. Big Al

Forgot I had asked about this stuff....thanks for the info. I'll take a gander this week. I'm missing quite a few of the firewall grommets. I think many of the new hoses are mis-routed. The PO installed all new hoses but he bought the car disassembled and probably guessed at much of the routing.
