Hello friends,
I have an issue with a new rear window seal I had put in my 69 by the body shop. When I picked her up last fall form the shop they told me they had nothing bu problems with getting the window snapped back in place after putting the new seal in.
About two weeks ago I tool the rear window out for the show and it was almost impossible to get the latches to release. I went to put the window back in that evening and struggled to get it latched. Once latched I noticed about a 1/8 in gap at the top corners. I tik the window back out and noticed the glass frame had caught the outside inner edge at the top corner and folded it in.
I don't know if this is a bad seal or if they didn't install it right. I purchased the gasket/seal kit from Doc's Rebuild and it looked like it was high quality but they are no help answering questions.
Any suggestions?
Terry
