Dropped a rear control arm bumper on my silver anniversary last week. Ordered/received the parts.  Question:  is it safe to drive 6 miles on blacktop with 2 left and 2 right turns to get to my mechanic?  I really don’t want to cough up $100 for a tow.

I would since you are going to be careful driving there.

If you are talking about this bumper, then you are completely safe to drive way farther than that......just don't do any Dukes of Hazzard jumps....you'll be fine.
