Vette(s): 1972 coupe/350 cid/mild cam/4 spd/20 ft. paint (looks perfect from 20 ft.), but it sure runs nice.
Here I sit having a brew and, at the same time, laughing at what I'm about to share with you all. The little woman is working 7am to 7pm today(Registered Nurse) and I've got list of chores and "honey-do's" you can stack a mile high, but the weather's too nice to pass up a ride in the vette. I remove the T-Tops, pop in "Nantucket Sleighride" by Mountain in the tape deck and away I go. There's something special about driving our cars, a good loneliness....comes from knowing another one just like it is not gonna buzz by, unlike the kids in their imports. I see a C5 in the distance with a breath-taking blonde at the wheel and I tear off after her. Just as I'm pulling alongside, a frightening sound not previously heard eminated from underneath, she sped away and I limped all the way home. Of course, the sound is gone now. Now if that isn't the closest thing to "coitus interruptus" I don't know what. Anyway, hope this made you chuckle.

You guys got it all and the folks to the North. It was nice today but, of course, I won't rub it in. I'm about a mile East of the Everglades so I see it building up every afternoon come summer. You can almost set your clock by it. When you first notice the thunder cloud (anvil head) forming to the West, you know you have about 15 minutes before it's on you. Enjoy the rest of your weekend. Happy Motoring!
