Ventured up to Greenwood (IN) this afternoon to participate a show put on by the Suds Hot Rod Club. It was an open show with about everything imaginable there. I think there were some 100 cars/bikes/trucks/Rods and whatever entered. There were at least 4 C3s there. One chrome bumper, one 78 silver, and two '78 pace cars. Both pace cars received Top 30 placques. One had 18k miles and ours with 163k miles.
It was a nice day in central Indiana. Some folks went to the track, some went to car shows and some stayed home.
Take care, keep waving

Low miles (was only 8,900 when I bought it in March 2006) - Now 54K miles. Original owner bought it as an investment for son's college expenses.

Congratulations on the plaque for your Pacer!

I saw that was going on - would have loved to have made it, but we had an 18th birthday party going on here for the youngest...
What's the status of the Suds? I've heard of the cruise in's there, but never made it to one. Are they still going to be able to have them there?
I wanted a Corvette my whole life, but I never dreamed of all the wonderful people I would meet because of it!

Re; What's happening with The Suds? The local rod club is attempting to save buy The Suds, a 60's era drive-in, car hop type of root beer stand. It has been closed for at least a couple years. Cars keep gathering there every Saturday night. Some park, some just keep circulating. Story in Indy Star said club was trying to buy The Suds via asking folks to buy into the fund. Story said the price was some $180k.
They had a good crowd last night, but doubt if it made much of a dent into the $180k.
Sorry folks, no pics.
Take care
